A Victorian Coromandel wood and brass strung vanity chest, of rectangular outline, the hinged lid enclosing a fitted interior for rings, jewellery and clear glass and white metal mounted jars, having a fall front enclosing a single drawer and pullout velvet lined drawer. 33cm wide.
The brass plaque to the lid is missing. There are three logitudinal splits along the top of the box. There is a length of veneer to the right hand side of the front panel, Side panels are in good order, the back panel has two small stains to the back. The key fits but doesn't lock. The interior is in good order but needs a good hoover and clean.
